LIVER-NOTE is a medical app which allows healthcare professionals to manage info from patient’s diagnostic images in a simple and intuitive way on any mobile device. Data is converted to digital on a 3D liver model on which the user can draw lesions, position them in their real location and take pre-surgery notes. LIVER-NOTE improves the work of both individuals and teams, improving surgical procedure management and enhancing communication among surgeons, radiologists and patients.
The app allows user to draw lesions in the liver in their real location, taking useful notes both for clinical case studies and for pre-treatment assessment.
Data is smartly managed on the device (either smartphone or tablet) to be shared as necessary with the team before, during and after the surgical procedure.
Through 3D images the app helps healthcare professionals to simplify their description of the pathology and better explain the course of treatment to the patient. This is the most effective way to get aware and informed consent.
